Disclaimer:
There is no particular consultant we recommend or are associated with - but clients have been pleased with the standard of the services and reports provided by the above companies. You can mention our referral as a discount may be given. Other consultants are listed in the yellow pages under "Building Inspection Services" and "Pest Control". We are not qualified to give an opinion about the contents of these reports and comments will be only meaningful to you, as you have inspected the property. Should any major defects be disclosed, you may wish to obtain from the contractor an estimate of the costs to fix these and, if you have not signed a Contract to purchase the property at the agreed sale price, you may be able to renegotiate the sale terms through the agent so as to have some allowance by the Vendor towards the cost of rectifying the faults or, perhaps, make completion of the purchase subject to the Vendor fixing these beforehand in a proper and workmanlike manner.
